Blindhem Foot D 820358-096

Use the Blindhem Foot D to sew professional invisible hems in medium-heavy to heavy fabrics. Use it together with the flatlock stitch to create decorative hems.

Sewing:

Set the machine for a 3-thread overedge narrow seam or a 4-thread overlock.

Attach the Blindhem Foot.

Fold and press the hem to the desired amount. Fold the hem back on itself toward the right side of the fabric. Leave 1/4” of the edge exposed.

Place the hem under the foot with the fold against the guide. Adjust the guide so that the needle catches one thread of the fold. NOTE: A 2-thread narrow serging seam may also be used.

Recommended fabric: Wool, gabardine, knit, linen. (There are two different feet for Hobbylock 4764. Blind Hem Foot 0.5 is used for fine-medium fabrics. Blind Hem Foot 1.0 is used for medium-heavy fabrics
